Woah Nellie Great Dane Rescue

Donation is not the only way to help! As a non-profit, volunteer based rescue, we ALWAYS appreciate any help that comes along! Stop by the "Forms" tab to fill out an application to Foster, Transport, or even Adopt a Great Dane! Though we are located in Metairie, we eventually would like to help save Great Danes all over the country and we cannot do this without your help!

We are always accepting Foster Applications and Transport Applications as these are the most common necessities.

 

*Fostering involves welcoming one of our Great Danes into your home, training, and loving them for a short amount of time until their forever family is found! Though this may be difficult, the feeling of being the stepping stone between possible Abuse and Love is amazing. All of the dog's bills are paid for by the rescue, including food and vetting during the period of time in foster.

 

*Transporting involves picking a dog up and driving them to another location. We could use transports all over the country as we may have a dog that needs to be transported across the country. The application allows you to specify the distance that you are willing to travel. We do not pay for gas, as we hope that this could be your donation to support our Great Danes in need.
